The Sherlock Violin
To mark the 150th Anniversary of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s birth, this rather special instrument was carved by violin maker Steve Burnett, using the wood of a sycamore tree that grew in the garden of Conan Doyle’s childhood home.
The rest of the tree will be used to make a complete quartet; two violins, a viola and a cello. I’m sure Holmes would be quite pleased.
I WANT THE VIOLA PLEASE!
